SSC is a not-for-profit organisation that encourages economic development across the North East via the provision of a range of support organisations. The SSC website had been in place for a number of years and was cumbersome to update and maintain. Cargo won a competitive tender to update the site and deliver it on their chosen no-code platform, Webflow. The team were already using Webflow on several other small sites they had delivered internally and were keen to continue with this platform moving forward. Our brief was to update the website in terms of visual approach and brand consistency whilst also delivering a UX that better promotes the services that SSC now offer.
A core aim of the site is to promote clear ‘funnels’ that will answer user intent, and will direct users to the pages they are interested in as early as possible in their journey. Achieving consistent brand experience is key to building user trust, therefore we have utilised the SSC brand guideline to ensure all touchpoints are familiar with users.
