Hyperdrive Innovation are one of the North East England’s most dynamic and forward thinking organisations. They design, develop and manufacture lithium ion battery systems to power electric vehicles, homes and businesses. They develop ‘clean energy’ alternatives to fossil fuels, working with national and international brands to electrify their fleets for vehicle use in city centres, construction sites and transport hubs.

We were obviously thrilled to win the project to work with them.

The company had changed massively in the last two years, in terms of structure, position and scale – as a result their start-up website was simply no longer fit for purpose. Our overarching aim was to develop an online home that encompassed the existing brand identity further, but also gives the opportunity to grow their online presence and digital footprint inline with company growth in the coming months and years.

In addition we discussed at length the opportunity to introduce a more illustrative approach to the site, utilising iconography seen in recent printed material and also information graphics to further explain what Hyperdrive do. The site is built in a way which would enable the quick and easy addition of pages, but also retain fast-loading pages and an individual appearance.

The new site forms a cornerstone of the Hyperdrive marketing mix, which will continue to develop into hub of key information not only for the company but for the industry as a whole.
