Developing an online presence

From their very beginnings, Northern Print Solutions (NPS) were always very pro-active in promoting their business and sending out marketing materials to clients, usually designing and producing these internally.

This was a great way to build client relationships, and in turn retention with clients. In 2016 they undertook a rebrand, and launched their successful ‘VOTE PRINT’ campaign. However by the middle of 2017 their website had not been updated to reflect the new brand or campaign, which ultimately left them a little confused, and at a crossroads as to how to move forward.

The VOTE PRINT campaign had really set NPS apart from it's competitors so it was vital that the website integrated this campaign and it's messaging to maintain it's success. We linked each campaign slogan to a certain service or offering and this become the theme throughout the website. 

Northern Print Solutions is built on providing high quality print, and the best price possible, in the quickest timescales. A lot of NPS's audience are in the creative sector and therefore it was important the design of the website spoke to this market. Another key area of their business is their outstanding customer service and relationships they build with clients so the new website addresses this through a large focus on people.

A website that's only the beginning

The project brought their online presence up-to-date and showcases NPS as a professional, experienced and quality delivery partner, however this is only the beginning.

Moving forward the website will allow us to create a far greater user experience, with the ability to download and request printed guides and packs. The 'Our Pledge' section helps tell users what the VOTE PRINT campaign means and why Northern Print Solutions are pushing that message. Whilst the updated CMS gives the team the ability to update content with ease, not only can they update their news posts but can now add case studies, services and staff.

All in all the website takes on a minimal approach, focusing on the content and range of services on offer. Through bespoke photography the facilities are presented very well and as a user - or potential client - you gain a good understanding of exactly what the company is about.

Just Press Print

Alongside supporting and developing the VOTE PRINT campaign we also developed a new campaign for Trade Print Solutions (TPS).

TPS is the online side of Northern Print Solutions and we have supported them with their website since the beginning of 2017. During this time we were also asked to develop a campaign similar to the VOTE PRINT campaign that could be used to promote TPS to a range of clients with a focus on designers and agencies.

The JUST PRESS PRINT campaign launched at the end of 2017 and you will be seeing more from it throughout 2018. The concept is that TPS is so helpful and easy to use that it is like just pressing print on your machine, no fuss, no trouble, Just Press Print. The campaign included posters, brochures, business cards, notepads etc. and uses a vibrant, typographical approach that portrays a simple message.
