Blu Sky Chartered Accountants are the leaders in jargon-free accounting services. Having established a loyal client base over the past nine years, Blu Sky was looking for a website to reflect the company they have grown into and we were keen to help them achieve this.
When Blu Sky came to
us, they had an established digital presence but wanted to strengthen
their online offerings. Their website was the cornerstone of the digital
project. They wanted a website that would open communication channels,
encourage enquiries and act as a promotional marketing and sales tool. Blu Sky, already acquainted
with what was effective on their previous website, were able to guide us
in the changes they wanted. They understand the power of content and wanted
a stronger platform for content, both visual and written.
This focus on content meant we had to deliver a practical content management system (CMS) that was simple to learn and use on a daily basis. The CMS we delivered has made uploading new content, such as news stories and testimonials, effortless. This helps Blu Sky reach their goals to keep the content on their website fresh and engaging. Changing the content allows Blu Sky to further their on-going dialogue with current and potential clients. Blu Sky introduced new pages for their products and services to better illustrate what they offer their clients, showing the strength of their capabilities.
As an increased number of visits to websites are coming from mobile and tablet, being responsive was an important improvement to the Blu Sky site. By being responsive, mobile visitors have the same quality of experience on the Blu Sky website as desktop visitors, without compromising aesthetics or functionality.
Blu Sky's new website supports their position as thought and market leaders in accountancy on both a regional and national level.
Blu Sky attend professional events on a regular basis so their print material has to make a lasting impression.
For their print materials we have produced:
- Business cards
- An exhibition stand
- Comp slips
- Name badges
We are currently working on creating more printed materials, such as postcards, to use for offline marketing. Though we live in a digital world, memorable print materials engages potential clients and increases brand awareness. This print material creates a tangible link to the Blu Sky brand and generates exposure.
A well-designed business card is still a powerful and necessary part of building relationships.
Blu Sky's refreshed branding allows them to present a coordinated appearance in their offline and online marketing.
Blu Sky also asked us to look at some of the visual components of their brand assets as part of the project.
We updated the colours and provided brand guidelines for use by staff in-house to ensure everyone was using the same branding. This has helped staff to keep branding consistent across multiple channels. In addition, we added the strapline of Chartered Accountants to the logo, highlighting qualified status of the company.
While Blu Sky's website was the central part of the project, their digital branding also extends to email newsletters and social media. To bridge their website and their other digital channels, we also created branded digital assets to use for online marketing. We created assets for email and social media channels. Fit for purpose social media and email assets are often an afterthought when creating brand assets. To keep Blu Sky looking professional, we ensured that they have the same appearance in all their interactions. This continuity can be found across their Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn profiles and in their email newsletters.
We continue to work with Blu Sky to help grow and extend their vision for their business.
