After launching their flagship bowling experience over 6 years ago in Newcastle, Lane7 has since expanded into Aberdeen, Middlesbrough and Birmingham. With new venues in the pipeline, they needed an updated website that matched their brand and reflected the internal experience.
We worked with their existing identity and brand assets and looked to give the site an all-out visual approach, drawing on the interiors of the venues for inspiration. From a usability standpoint, page load speed was a prime consideration taking into account the amount of imagery required. In addition, we looked to improve the user journey from landing on the site to being able to book. Previously there was limited booking ability online and we worked closely with the team and Lane7 and their integration partners to ensure this was as streamlined as possible.
Since launch, bookings via the website have increased by 55% in some venues.
