Ryan Errington | Cargo Creative

Ryan is Head of Creative at Cargo and a key member of our management team, driving the creative direction across all brand and design projects. He plays an important role in leading design, bringing innovation, bold ideas and a forward-thinking approach to everything we create. Ryan is constantly pushing the team to explore new possibilities and deliver work that is both impactful and distinctive.

As a self-taught creative, Ryan has progressed through a number of roles at several agencies before joining Cargo for his first stint in 2018. Following a period of travelling in 2019, he became Head of Creative at North East Times magazine, where he played a pivotal role in their rebrand. However, Ryan couldn’t stay away from Cargo and rejoined the team in 2022, bringing all of his experience, creativity and leadership back to the studio.

He plays a central role in guiding both the design and development teams to ensure ideas are executed with precision and creativity. Always challenging the team to push boundaries, Ryan helps shape work that sets new standards and keeps Cargo at the forefront of innovative design.
