Paul Hart | Cargo Creative

Prior to Cargo, Paul spent several years working in London—initially in national newspapers such as The Guardian and The Observer, but mainly as an interactive designer for BBC News. There he worked on breaking news and national campaigns, collaborating with teams across News, TV, Radio, Audio/Video and Online. The experience provided a solid grounding, working with exceptional talent in one of the world’s largest organisations.

On returning to the North East, Paul spent time as a lecturer at Newcastle College, teaching on the Foundation Degree in Editorial Design and across the Graphic Design Foundation Degree course. He maintained industry links and took students on visits to Scotland, London and as far afield as New York City.

When forming Cargo in 2009, the aim was to build an agency with a solid, respected reputation for delivering great work with an honest, straight-talking ethos.

Over the years, the agency has grown to offer a wide range of services and has worked with many of the most successful organisations in the North East of England. Cargo now delivers for national and international brands across strategic design, digital and communications.
