The essential foundations within cargo creative are built on good cups of coffee (water for Stephen), jam doughnuts once a week and an open door to all clients and colleagues.
Finally, we believe that inspiration in design can come from anywhere or anyone, therefore we encourage an open working relationship with clients, suppliers and everyone and everything around us.

Chris Henderson.
Initially working as in-house designer for Holdtite - an international adhesives manufacturer, Chris worked his way up through the ranks to take the role of lead designer in this global company.
After gaining design management experience in this role and many industry contacts he packed his bags and travelled to Melbourne, Australia to take up a position within Morgan Oliver Design. Working mainly across print design and packaging design for a number of years he up-rooted once again to soul-search whilst travelling around South East Asia.
On his return back to the North East, Toothpick Design was formed which over three years gained a great deal of valued clients both regionally and nationally.
After meeting Paul (Aitch Design Studio) and working collectively over many months on a number of projects, they merged Toothpick Design and Aitch Design and as a result formed Cargo Creative.

Paul Hart.
Initially working for The Observer newspaper producing information graphics, Paul spent four years working for BBC News Interactive. During this time he worked on many projects covering interactive and informational design, user experience and functionality and also coordinated a number of pan-BBC projects, winning a Silver Award at the Malofiej World Informational Graphics Awards in Pamplona, Spain in 2004. This experience provided excellent grounding leading him to set up his own business - Aitch Design following a period of time spent lecturing at Newcastle College in Editorial and Information Graphics.
After meeting Chris (toothpick Design) and working collectively over many months on a number of projects, they merged Toothpick Design and Aitch Design and as a result formed Cargo Creative.
